“Something unthinkable”
The team thought they were dealing with a classic scenario; a person who had left their home and returned once or twice a week to feed their cats left behind. The volunteers did not expect to witness a double tragedy: animals neglected to the extreme and a woman in great psychological distress.

The lady initially took refuge in denial, even claiming that malicious people were poisoning her animals by passing through the window. A story that is difficult to believe, all access to the property being closed. According to information found on site, most of them died of starvation.
As their inspection progressed, the volunteers discovered other creatures in pain: terrified dogs, rabbits deprived of water, but also skinny goats in the garden.
