While the Luckey family was returning home to Atlanta from Florida, they stopped at a gas station in Columbus, Georgia (United States). This is where Rollins, Alexandra and their son Reese crossed paths with a Pitbull abandoned and neglected by his owner. Faced with the doggie's distress, the family could not remain unmoved, especially not the 6-year-old child, in tears, who refused to leave him to his sad fate. After making sure the owner wasn't messing with it, the Luckeys gave the dog a new name, Clark, and a loving home.
