Munich (ots). On Tuesday, February 25, 4.40 p.m., a small dog fell into the rural channel. He had to be saved by the fire brigade from its predicament. At 4:40 p.m., the integrated control center in Munich received an emergency call about a small mixed breed dog that had fallen into the rural channel. The 17-year-old dog had overlooked the edge of the canal due to his old age and restricted eyesight and had fallen into the water.
Fortunately, the four -legged friend was able to save himself under a bridge where the canal was not so deep and he could stand. Due to the steep bank attachment, however, it was not possible for the dog owner or passers -by to get the animal out of the water. Emergency services from the Munich fire brigade quickly arrived at the scene and climbed into the canal to save the uninjured dog. After a successful rescue, master and dog were exhausted, but happily competing.
