A German Shepherd abandoned on the road and tied to a large stone is saved by the police who appeal for witnesses

A German Shepherd was found tied to a heavy stone at the side of a road, in a particularly shocking scene of abandonment. Alerted by a report, the police quickly intervened to rescue the animal before entrusting it to a shelter. Taken care of and brought to safety, the dog is now receiving the necessary care, while a call for witnesses has been launched by the authorities in order to identify the person(s) responsible for this heinous act.

The local police (Woodburn Police Department) was alerted about this canine around 5:20 a.m. Of German Shepherd breed, the quadruped in question was on Willow Avenuein the northwest of the city.

The police arrived quickly on the scene. The police immediately worked to free and comfort the dog. They then gave him water and food.

Subsequently, they took him to the city's police animal service shelter, initially, before transferring him to the Marion County shelter (Marion County Dog Shelter).
