Or rather the trio, because the star of this beautiful adventure is Lokithe dog of Clara. At 8 years old and in great shape, he loves above all “lwalks, sniff, eat “.

Comfortably installed in his cart, he will be the faithful co-pilot of his mistress and will watch over her as much as his “godmother” Melissa. He will also be able to count on the comforting presence of Mr Rennehis essential comforter.
By taking part in Roots in the saddle,Loki is sure to provide plenty of great discoveries and wonderful encounters across European towns and villages.
After the first pedal strokes Gençay, Loki, Clara And Melissa will head north to Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. They will then begin their journey through Eastern Europe, Greece and the Balkans, before passing through the South of the Old Continent via Italy and the Mediterranean coast of France. They will then make a large coastal loop on the Iberian Peninsula, before returning to French territory and New Aquitaine to reach their starting point.
Savings, kitty and odd jobs along the way
A journey which promises to be thrilling and which the two childhood friends had wanted to embark on since their meeting with bicycle travelers in Albania a few years earlier.
It will be financed by their savings, Melissa being seasonal and Clara employed in nursing homes, through an online fundraiser that raised 1,400 euros, but also through the small jobs they hope to land along the way.
