There is nothing more moving than seeing the evolution of a dog, once in distress, transform into the person he always should have been.
Throughout the world, many animal protection associations work to help dogs in difficulty. Whether they were found as a stray or rescued from neglect and abuse, these furballs can then get a fresh start. Within organizations like the NIRA (Animal Response and Responsibility Network), a Portuguese animal rescue association that has existed since 2017, these survivors are experiencing a real transformation. Thanks to veterinarians, volunteers, then their adopters, these vulnerable and traumatized animals are gradually recovering and have the chance to finally find love in the heart of a loving home.
