Ziggy said goodbye to the shelter staff, ate whipped cream before setting off towards his new life. Breaking all prejudices against senior dogs, the dog demonstrates permanent dynamism, and will undoubtedly make her new family happy who awaits her when the plane lands.
Age is not a problem for the one who calls herself “Grandma Ziggy.” It is with emotion that the volunteers of his shelter, including Cassondra (“@cassondrachrisman”) shared the recent news of his adoption. Indeed, after long months of waiting, the one who was shunned by adopters has finally found her family for life. Her new mother, explains the volunteer, fell in love with the dog through a video, and decided to make a place for her in her life.
Festive farewells
Ziggy said goodbye to the volunteers who took care of her at the Maui Humane Society in the most joyful way. On the way to the airport, she was allowed to pass by a food stand, and was able to taste a wonderful whipped cream. Very happy, the dog made the most of the moment. In the car, an endless kissing session takes place between the dog and her favorite volunteers.
“His best life”
After the dream day, Ziggy was accompanied to the plane which allowed her to join her new family, explains PetHelpful. It was with reasonable fear that the dog settled into the transport crate. When he arrived, his new humans were waiting for him.
Very quickly, Ziggy made friends with another dog. Under the posted video, the volunteers comment: “She now plays with her new sister as if she were 2 years old again”. Indeed, the announcement of her adoption, then her actual adoption, gave a second youth to this adorable dog whose dynamism no longer needs to be proven.
