Man's best friend is not always the best accomplice to escape the police… After fleeing, Charles Foy thought he could take shelter. Unfortunately for him, his faithful Labrador had decided otherwise!
“Denounced” by his dog
Last February, Charles Foy41, tried to outrun the police Cheshire while he was illegally riding an electric scooter in RuncornAt United Kingdom. Problem: sound Labradorwho was running alongside him, was unable to keep up with the machine's pace. “ During his escape attempt, one of the dogs running alongside the scooter, a Labrador, was left behind, unable to keep up with the high speed of the electric scooter. », explained the police in a press release relayed by PEOPLE.
What followed was rather comical: unable to follow his master, the dog turned around and returned to his home. The police then decided to follow him… successfully!
Their new guide led them directly to the fugitive's house. The agents only had to enter the house and flush him out in the attic where he thought he would have found an ideal hiding place under pieces of insulation.

They then escorted him outside and arrested him. The defendant will have at least understood one thing that evening: when you want to outrun the police, it is perhaps better to avoid leaving your own four-legged GPS behind you!
Unexpected allies of the police
Dogs can sometimes become both unexpected and effective allies for police officers. THE Labrador of Charles Foy demonstrated this, by guiding the agents against his will to his master's hiding place.
