A dog starved and neglected by its owner was taken from the latter and saved thanks to a video revealing its sad fate, reported the Miami Herald.
The owner of the canine was identified and arrested by the police of Miamiin Florida (United States). It's a DJ called Kevin Alexander Benjaminbetter known by his artist name DJ KB. Aged 27, he had previously performed in nightclubs such as Vendome Miami And Mona Club. One of the latter announced that they had ended their collaboration following this case of mistreatment.
A video shared on X showed the French Bulldog in an extremely thin state, running in circles on a balcony covered in urine and excrement.

These images shocked many Internet users, who called for the rescue of the quadruped. The authorities reacted quickly by arresting Kevin Alexander Benjamin. As for the dog, he was taken into the care of Miami-Dade County Animal Control (Miami-Dade County Animal Services).
Detained at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Centerwith bail set at $5,000 (4,400 euros), Kevin Alexander Benjamin is being prosecuted for animal abuse.
