While going about her business on August 25, a resident of a Texan neighborhood spotted a small white dog pacing near a pile of trash, in front of a house that her owners had recently left. Alone and neglected, the dog, named Treasure by her rescuers, was waiting to be noticed. Thanks to this good Samaritan and to Paula from the Tzu Zoo Rescue association, the dog of about a year old who suffered from dermatitis due to fleas can finally get back on track and benefits from a new start within a loving foster family who takes great care of her.
Treasure was found on August 25, 2026, in a neighborhood located in Texas. Abandoned near a pile of garbage and belongings that her owners had not taken with them when they moved, the little dog waited quietly there, no doubt hoping that someone would come and get her. In vain… She was pacing back and forth, when finally, someone noticed her.
A passerby refused to ignore him
Thanks to a good Samaritan living in the neighborhood, the little dog was rescued. It is Paulaa volunteer of the association Tzu Zoo Rescue who intervened on the spot to help the little ball of fur visibly neglected by its former masters. “ She was adorable as soon as I approached, but a little shy », recounted Paula has The Dodo.
It had been neglected and was in a sorry state.
Suffering from dermatitis due to fleas, Treasure had lost part of his coat. Treated by a veterinarian and groomed, the little dog was then welcomed home by Paula. There, the adorable doggie could finally flourish and forget his misadventure.

“ She is doing wonderfully in my house.. She is only about a year old and adores her master. She gets a little upset when we leave her alone, but that's understandable given her past », explained Paula.
