Many unanswered questions

Shortly after, Hal took away Love Bug to the veterinarian, to find out more about it. Her age was estimated at 5 months, the dog still had her milk teeth, but was also visibly in heat.

Without a microchip, the dog was entrusted to Halin the meantime, perhaps to find his family.

A real favorite

Hal immediately agreed to continue his care of Love Bug. The bond of trust is obvious, which makes Internet users think that the rest of the dog's story could well be written alongside her rescuer.

How to manage a dog's excitement?

The dog can be excited for many reasons, but it is up to the owner to set limits to avoid excesses. Here's how to manage the dog's excess excitement, gently:

  • Reward the dog when he is calm, with words of encouragement or treats
  • Provide enough activity for the dog so he can burn off his energy during dedicated times
  • Stay calm (not impassive) during phases of excitement, to reduce agitation
