As reported The Dodothe puppy – named after Kojo – was actually a young coyote. Surprised, the family was nevertheless delighted to have been able to save a wild animal in distress. The little ball of fur, whose paw was broken, desperately needed help. He was subsequently entrusted to the care of the Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG).

The little coyote will be released into the wild
Kojo received all the necessary care, recovered quickly and adapted to life at the center. “ He is being raised with 2 other wild coyotes, and they will all be released in about a month », declares Kelley LaBonty to our colleagues across the Atlantic. Their keepers are eager to see them return to live together in the wild.
The young canine owes his survival to the caring and altruistic boy, who extended his hand to him that day on the side of the road. Besides, Kojo and his loved ones continue to check on him. They even made a donation to the establishment!
