Weiden Idopf. (ots). On Friday afternoon, April 30th, a patrol of the federal police at Weiden train station discovered (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria) an abandoned dog. Little Yorkshire Terrier was wrong about the train station without an associated person in the area. The emergency services of the federal police acted immediately and took the four -legged friend to the office.
Since the officers could not find a owner at first, they decided to temporarily put the dog into the care of the local animal shelter. But on the way there the relieved and at the same time desperate owners of 'Rocky' reported by phone at the shelter – he had already searched for his animal companion. The federal police officers turned up immediately and made a happy reunion between humans and animals at the Weiden station. As it turned out, 'Rocky' had used a short unobserved moment to go on a small solo excursion – an adventure that led him directly into the caring hands of the federal police officers.
'Rocky' was visibly impressed by his visit to the police, so that he now “would like to become a police dog himself”. The Federal Police Inspection Waidhaus is happy about this happy outcome and points out all animal owners to pay attention to their four -legged friends, especially in busy places.
