To do this, she had recently launched a call, looking for volunteers to welcome 16 of her canine residents for a few hours. It was about killing two birds with one stone: making it easier for the volunteers who had to maintain the boxes and allowing the dogs to enjoy special moments outside the shelter, which also constituted the opportunity to evaluate them with a view to future adoption.
She therefore needed 16 volunteers and was ultimately spoiled for choice, 37 people responding to the call, reported KOMU.

The event called “ Doggy Day Out » took place on Sunday August 30. The dog “borrowers” arrived at 9 a.m. to pick up their 4-legged friends and give them a day full of discoveries and encounters.

The 16 dogs happily wagged their tails as they left the shelter alongside their companions in the morning. They did the same when returning in the afternoon, finding perfectly clean boxes.
