Freiburg (ots). On Wednesday, October 15th, around 7:15 a.m., a passerby found an abandoned dog on the sidewalk of the Bivangweg. The little Yorkshire terrier was sitting in a cat box and, according to the finder, was hypothermic. The dog was probably abandoned and left behind on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. The dog has a Spanish chip implanted that could not be read.
The dog is currently in the care of an animal welfare officer. The Jestetten police station, Tel. 07745 925820, is looking for witnesses who can provide information about the dog or its owner.
