The focus on animal welfare in March
Husum. In the port city of Husum, in the center of the North Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein, the Husum & Congress trade fair organizes with “Fellnasen & Friends” at the weekend March 8th and March 9th For the first time a consumer fair for pet owners. The well -being of the animals is in the focus in the expert lectures and in the entire trade fair design.
With a new trade fair format, the Husum Messe team focuses on the living together of humans and animals-and presented the first pet fair of its kind in Schleswig-Holstein with the “Fellnasen & Friends”. In the generous exhibition hall, expert lectures and an “animal” entertainment program complement the offer of various exhibiting companies. Above all, visitors are introduced to visitors and services that simplify or enrich the community of humans and animals.
“Waumobil”, for example, is a provider of dog -right motorhomes that offer fellow four -legged friends within the vehicles a comfortable entry area and retreat. Useful tools such as the patented “tick mouse” for tick removal for four -legged friends or special services such as animal physiotherapy are also presented. Furthermore, exclusive, partially handmade animal accessories and high -quality pet food can be discovered in the exhibitor area. Since the “Fellnasen & Friends” also has an eye on animals in need, the Animal Welfare Association Nordfriesland, the Rabbit Aid North Frisia and the State Association of Guinea pig friends are also represented.
Expert council and show programIn the supporting program, experts give valuable tips for animal owners and those who want to become: To prepare dogs or cats for medical treatments, to training dogs as therapy, school and accompanying dogs or to get used to a fur nose into a new home. The lectures take place every hour on both days, each between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. All specialists are committed animal connoisseurs. These include, for example, the guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute and founder of the intelligent app pack, Tim Matschkowski, the owner of the dog and dog owner school Landwölfe, Bernd Lang or the animal physiotherapist for dog and horse, Sophie Sydow as well as the human-cat coach Christina Wolf .
Meanwhile, the general dog club Nordfriesland and the Utsehundeverein GHV Flensburg provide entertainment on the show area with a dog sports show. In addition, the DRK rescue dog team Niebüll is used to search for people with a demonstration. A separate ticket can be purchased for participation in the crash course “First aid on the dog” also offered by the DRK.
Trim-dich path for all dogs
So that the dogs they have brought with them can also let off steam, there is a trim-dich path directly behind the exhibition hall. Here the four -legged visitors can recover from the trade fair impressions with various stations and tasks.
