Refreshing Recipes: Homemade Dog Ice Cream – Dog News

Dog ice cream for your four-legged friendBoppard. Homemade dog ice cream is a great way to pamper your four-legged friend on hot days and do something good for him at the same time. It is important to always pay attention to suitable ingredients and only use fruits and foods that are safe for dogs. The basic rule is: no additional sugar or artificial sweeteners such as xylitol (poisonous for dogs!) use. The sweetness comes from the natural ingredients. Many dogs do not tolerate large amounts of lactose well. Therefore use lactose-free yogurt, cottage cheese or kefir.
