Victoria Swarovski is the new Field reporter at “Top Dog Germany”
New season from Friday, August 8th, at RTL and one week in advance on RTL+
Cologne. An animal cast, brand new obstacles and a top new addition: Victoria Swarovski presents the 5th season of the popular physical dog show “Top Dog Germany – The Best Dog in Germany”. In addition to the well-rehearsed commentator duo, Jan Köppen and Frank “Buschi” Buschmann, Victoria Swarovski is there as a new field reporter. In five new episodes, she accompanies the four -legged friends and their owners when they give everything in the fast -paced obstacle races. In this season, three brand new obstacles are waiting for the four-legged friends and their owners: “The Chaos workshop”, “The Apple Tree” and “The Train” and the popular duels are back! The new season offers animal fun in prime time this summer, and on RTL+ the episodes are available one week before the TV broadcast.
Over 30 dog breeds compete against each other, regardless of whether small and nimble or large and clever and clever, what counts in the end is interaction between humans and animals, because the dogs are guided, supported and cheered on in the course. Which four -legged friend conquers the course with the left and can prevail against the paw -strong competition and take the title “Top Dog Germany” and 25,000 euros in prize money in the basket?
Victoria Swarovski herself is a passionate dog owner and is all the more looking forward to the new task: “I have been on the dog for a long time and therefore feel like I was in the Top Dog Germany family. The performance of the participating dogs really impressed me – my Dachshund Gustl can still learn one or the other.”
The experts
Agility trainer Jan Dießner is again a referee. The obstacles on the course were coordinated with the dog expert for the good of the animals in advance. While the show, Jan Dießner arranges the dogs of the dogs for the spectators, gives tips on dog education and is answered by the moderation team when asked.
There is also a reunion with the well -known veterinarian and blogger Dr. Tanja Pollmüller, called Doc Polly, who, like in the past seasons, is responsible for the basic veterinary care on site with her team. Only those who exist their “dog TÜV” can also participate.
The rules
Four preliminary round shows are about moving into the grand finale-and for 5,000 euros, which each day winner can take home and from which 1,000 euros are donated to a self-elected animal welfare organization. Each preliminary round is divided into two stages. The seven fastest duos from Stage Eins qualify for the next course (Stage 2). The four fastest duos from Stage two qualify for duels. The three fastest duos qualify for the final show and the fastest duo gets the daily victory and 5,000 euros in prize money.
After all, everything is about everything in the grand finale! The fastest four duos compete against each other and fight for the title “Top Dog Germany”. The winner receives prize money of 25,000 euros, of which 5,000 euros go to an animal welfare organization of the election.
The two best -placed little dogs of all preliminary rounds also move into the final and have the chance of the “Last Shorty Standing” rating and 5,000 euros, of which the owners also donate 1,000 euros for a good cause.
