A dog and his owner were separated after a nighttime fire broke out at their home. Fortunately, the firefighters arrived in time to rescue the canine, which was still inside, and the animal was able to return unharmed to its owner who probably thought she had lost it, reported RiverBender.com.
The fire occurred during the night of Sunday August 23, 2026 in Altonin the state of Illinois (United States). When firefighters from the local fire department arrived (Alton Fire Department), thick smoke was already gushing from the house.

The mistress was able to escape first without suffering the slightest injury. The firefighters then entered the home to locate his 4-legged friend and rescue him. They quickly found him and brought him to safety.

Fortunately, there were no injuries to report. The only losses resulting from this fire which was finally brought under control were material.
