The dog taping lexicon – Dog News

Tape clinical pictures from A to Z

Katja Bredlau-Morich - The dog taping lexiconNerdlen/Daun. After the great success of her book “Kinesiological Taping for Dogs”, Katja Bredlau-Morich is now following up with a long-awaited specialist book: The new dog taping lexicon lists typical clinical pictures from A to Z and suggests suitable taping systems. Intended as a supportive measure for further therapies, expertly applied taping can be a valuable support in the healing process or prevent major problems if minor tensions or problems become apparent.

After an introductory general part in which the basics, techniques, effects and contraindications of taping are briefly summarized, the encyclopedia part follows from acupuncture points and fear to HD and tendon damage to diaphragm blockade with a description of the problem and a suggested solution using taping.

The final part once again presents sensible combination options with other forms of therapy.

About the author
Katja Bredlau-Morich is a certified animal physiotherapist and has been intensively involved in taping for horses and dogs for many years. Her specialist books “Kinesiological Horse Taping” and “Kinesiological Taping for Dogs” were groundbreaking and were both translated into English. After the “Horse Taping Lexicon”, which was published by Müller Rüschlikon in March 2025, the Dog Taping Lexicon is now the logical consequence.

After years of trial and error, she has also developed her own tape, “Tape4Fur”, which is specifically suitable for use on animals.
