For stray dogs, every day is a new challenge. Between the lack of food, the dangers of the street and the bad weather, finding a safe place to spend the night is often a feat. After nearly an hour of searching, the couple chose to leave him some food and water before returning the next day.

To their great joy, Penny was waiting for them near the bowls. This time, the dog recognized her benefactors and accepted their presence. Approaching slowly, Hannah saw the furball lie on its back to ask for petting, while its tail wagged enthusiastically.
This touching reunion marked the beginning of a new life for Pennywho finally accepted the help of those who had come to rescue her.

A radical change of life
Once made safe, the life of Penny has completely changed as evidenced by the video of his rescue relayed by DogTime. The little dog was finally able to enjoy a real meal, 2 baths to eliminate fleas and ticks, then a first night in the shelter.

Taken to the vet, she quickly won over the whole team, even if the examination revealed that she was not chipped, despite the collar she was wearing. Hannah And Ovie have nevertheless taken steps to find a possible owner, before facing the obvious: the sector of the park where Penny was discovered is unfortunately notorious for animal abandonment…
The couple then decided to keep her in a foster family while waiting to find her a permanent home.
Described as “ joy incarnate “, Penny now seems ready to leave behind her wandering past to begin a new life surrounded by affection. She will undoubtedly find a kind family very soon who is ready to love her as she deserves. In the meantime, she is in good hands.
