Aggressive, fearful, or otherwise difficult-to-control behavior in dogs is much more often related to pain than most dog lovers think. Because the dog, as a hunter, is a master at hiding his pain. “Dogs are silent. The authors
Dr. med. vet. Patrick Blättler-Monnier runs the orthovet dog practice in Switzerland, which specializes in orthopedics and pain patients, and is co-developer of the prophylactic system LupoMove®, with which movement and weight development can be analyzed, controlled and planned according to the situation in order to avoid illnesses.
Katrien Lismont is the founder of the DOGood ® dog school and has specialized in behavior training for twenty years, for which she has developed her own holistic approach. She recognized the connections between behavior and pain early on and therefore sought collaboration with specialized veterinarians in order to find sustainable solutions. She is the author of several successful dog books.
