The KG Foundationan association based in Mount Clemens in the state of Michigan (United States), had recently been informed of the distress of a dog. The latter, a German Shepherd breed, was wandering near a sewage treatment plant. She was thin and terrified, never letting herself be approached.

Every time one of the site employees tried to help her, she would slip under the fence and disappear.
They still began to feed her daily, both to help her survive and to try to gain her trust.
The dog with the googly eyes ate, then left. She spent most of her days outside, at the mercy of the elements, even when it rained heavily. The volunteers of The KG Foundation and the treatment plant staff were heartbroken.

Rescued and adopted by one of her benefactors
His benefactors decided to call him Nyx. With the help of the association, they installed trap cages with food in order to capture it safely.
The employees continued their efforts, and one of them even managed to approach her.

Deliverance came several weeks later; Nyx finally allowed himself to be locked in a trap cage.

The dog was thus able to be taken care of by The KG Foundation. She was cared for and comforted. Soon after, Nyx was adopted by one of the treatment plant staff who took part in his rescue.
