Kleve-brry (ots). On Tuesday afternoon, May 27th, the explorer group of the Kleve fire brigade became a special animal rescue in the Brien district (North Rhine-Westphalia) called. A dog had run into a densely overgrown rapeseed field the evening before and could not return on its own. Due to its state of health and the concrete localization by the owner, a targeted search use was started.
Since a comprehensive search with people in the field was difficult due to the dense vegetation, the fire brigade Kleve used a drone equipped with thermal imaging camera. So the animal could be located after a short time. Emergency services were now able to prepare themselves to the dog. This was invalidated, but was obviously happy about his rescue. He was carried out of the field and handed over to the owner.
The fire brigade Kleve expressly points out that in this case it was a special situation: the dog was weakened in terms of health and the lounge could be clearly limited. Support from the fire brigade is possible in such cases, but represents an individual decision.
