4 dogs were removed from a house where they were kept in very poor conditions and while their state of health caused great concern, reported WKBN on Monday September 7. They are now in good hands after being taken care of by an animal protection association.
The intervention of the latter, called Healthy Hearts and Paws Project and based in Warren in the state of Ohio (United States), took place on the afternoon of Sunday, September 6 at the request of the Trumbull County emergency call service.
The property in question is located at Weathersfieldless than 10 kilometers from Warren. Upon their arrival on site, the members of the team Healthy Hearts and Paws Project were struck by the situation of the canines. They had lost a large part of their coat, their skin was red, and they had bumps and various lesions.
The responders carried out the evacuation, and the 4 dogs were able to be examined. They were then transported to the association's shelter, where they were washed and placed under the supervision of a veterinarian. The latter prescribed appropriate treatments to help them recover.
