Intended to care for dogs with special needs, the organization helped Lily and offered him the opportunity to have as normal a life as possible. The reason for his presence within the association? The little dog was born without front legs. But it is far from being an insurmountable handicap for this female Chihuahua determined to live despite everything.

A specially designed mobility device

On May 6, Cleft Rescue Unit gave her the opportunity to discover new equipment specially adapted for her: a small pink trolley on wheels, thanks to which she would now be able to move around.

In the sequence shared by the association, we see Lilyequipped for the first time with this device provided with a harness adjusted to his body and a trolley fitted with 2 casters. Very enthusiastic, the little dog is already doing very well and very quickly understood how to move forward. The proof? She speeds off, happy to be able to frolic as she pleases.

Here we go ! » announced the caption of the video. “ Lily is starting to get the hang of it. It's a process and we will continue to adjust her so she is comfortable and stable in her chair. »

“What a brave little champion. »

Of course, it is obvious that in just one go, Lily can't be as steady on her hind legs as any able-bodied dog, but it's clear she's determined. Supported by her harness, she expresses her joy by wagging her tail enthusiastically, and continually proves her resilience. When she stumbles or falters, she does not hesitate to continue, not at all determined to give up.

This video, which went viral on TikTok and relayed by Pet Paradehas something to comfort and rejoice the hearts of users of the social network. They are also nearly 93 K to have pressed the mention “I like”, thus expressing their support for the pretty Lily. Many also left messages of encouragement, like these comments: “ Come on, Lily, come on! “, ” She's doing really well “, ” Look how excited she is to be able to run around like any other puppy “, ” Nothing can stop this little lady now “.

Her determination and courage are a true example to anyone who sees these moving images.
