Trapped for 29 days under the rubble of an earthquake, a Poodle is found alive by rescuers (video)

There are stories that seem straight out of a movie and yet this one is very real. After the violent earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 which struck the Venezuela on June 24, 2026, causing a dramatic human toll of more than 5,500 deaths, rescuers made an incredible discovery: under the rubble, a small Poodle was still alive.

An extraordinary rescue

Almost a month after the disaster, the rescuers no longer believed it. During a clearance operation in the Venezuelan port city of Catia La Marthe rescue brigade Topos Orientales AC yet found alive BeyliA Poodle aged 11, after 29 days spent trapped under the rubble.

The animal, covered in dust, was discovered curled up near the body of its owner's deceased mother.

A symbol of hope after the disaster

“ Beyli's clinical condition is stable. Considering how much time has passed without basic necessities, this is a miracle from a physiological point of view », explained the veterinarian in charge of her follow-up to the Diario de Morelos. THE Poodle suffers in particular from eye ulcers caused by prolonged exposure to dust, but his prognosis is favorable.

His story is all the more moving because his young mistress, Victoria11, also survived the earthquake, even though she lost her mother and grandmother in the disaster.

Reunited in a temporary shelter, the child and his faithful companion are continuing their convalescence today thanks to the support of emergency services and associations. In the midst of this tragedy, the story of the little Beyli has become a true symbol of hope and resilience.
