But through patience, he ended up understanding that he had nothing to fear. “ In just a few days, this dog who was too scared to trust began climbing into our laps, begging for affection, and finally letting his guard down. » « After months of love, patience and nurturing, he learned to love car rides because they meant a new adventure. He learned that new people could become friends. He discovered what it was like to belong, to be part of a family and a pack that loved him just the way he was. »

Affected by illness

But a new blow came when Jack fell ill in November 2025. Suffering from gastric dilatation-torsion, he had to be treated urgently. The recovery was slow, but he showed resilience and eventually got back on his feet. The shelter The Good Hypefounded by the family Goodlin during the COVID-19 pandemic, was determined to find him a home.

The ideal family was waiting for him

Thanks to the help of the association Underdog Heroes, they managed to find him the perfect home. A family living in theOregon wanted to give him a new start. Within this home filled with love, Jack even found a new canine friend, a dog named Skye.
