How my dog stays healthy and fit throughout his life
Munich. He is man's best friend and a truly loyal companion. In Germany he lives in one in five households and enriches the lives of his fellow residents. For many, it is much more than just a pet, but rather a companion or even a family member. Of course we're talking about the dog! Anyone who has a wonderful four-pawed friend at home knows how much happiness they bring into their lives and how wonderful the time they spend together is. However… when he no longer bounces around the room like an energetic bouncy ball in the morning because he's so excited about his walk, or when you increasingly notice a hooded look instead of bright eyes, worry creeps in. Age affects everyone, even your favorite four-legged friend. So what does he need in order to live a healthy life for as long as possible, and how can we best support him through all phases of life?
The book “Healthy Dog Happy Life” provides answers to these questions. The author Sandra Bucher, a veterinary certified nutritionist for dogs, explains in a concise and well-founded way how you can take care of the health of your own dog – regardless of whether it is young or old. Her passion is to help people give their dogs a long, happy life. For them, the key lies in an interplay of species-appropriate nutrition, mental exercise, age-appropriate exercise, health care and a close bond with people. The book invites you to carefully observe your own dog and develop routines that are equally good for people and dogs. It's not about perfection or rigid rules, but rather about practical impulses for a relaxed, healthy coexistence – from tips for everyday life to special shared activities to a more conscious approach to stress and relaxation.
With its holistic approach, “Healthy Dog Happy Life” is aimed at everyone who not only cares for their fluffy friend, but also really wants to understand and support their four-legged family member in the best possible way through all phases of life. The clear presentation and suggestions suitable for everyday use make the book an inspiring read and an interesting topic for anyone who wants to deal with the influence of lifestyle on animal health.
