It is at Fontenay-aux-Roses (Hauts-de-Seine) that Valkapurebred Argentinian Mastifflived with his owner. The dog was locked on the balcony during the heat wave. Thinking that the family had gone on vacation leaving the dog behind, a neighbor notified the police. The intervention revealed an even more dramatic situation.
A voluntary and highly malicious act
When the police arrived on scene, explains Newsthey thought they would find the animal alone. Finally, the owner of Valka was on site. Installed inside his home, he had a view of his dog in a state of shock outside.

Not only locked up, Valka was in full sun and had no water bowl available. Also deprived of food, the dog had a worrying appearance, her skeleton almost entirely visible. The association adds: “23 kilos of skin and bones”.
Transferred to a veterinarian, Valka was barely saved. A team is currently working to correctly raise its weight curve.
A complaint was immediately filed to denounce the situation. Taken into custody, the abusive owner awaits his trial.
