When the dog saw the opportunity to catch a pigeon, he broke away and gave chase. When he reached the parapet of the fortifications, the black Weimaraner followed his instincts and bravely jumped after the pigeon. The flight ended about six meters below in the cool water – without a pigeon. Horrified by his failure and the confrontation with the Isar, which was around eight degrees cold, the dog escaped to a ledge on the Isar weir.
