Woopets info: why is the accumulation of animals dangerous?

The accumulation of animals in too small a space often leads to a rapid deterioration of their living conditions, even when the owners think they are “doing the right thing”. Beyond a certain number, it becomes difficult to properly ensure their basic daily needs.

Access to healthy water, suitable food and regular veterinary care quickly becomes insufficient. The hygiene of the premises also deteriorates very quickly, favoring the proliferation of parasites and contagious diseases.

Permanent promiscuity can also cause significant stress in dogs. Some then develop behavioral problems, anxiety or aggressive reactions linked to the lack of space, resources and stimulation.
