More than a month after being rescued by law enforcement along with hundreds of other animals, a dog called Meatloaf is fully on the road to recovery and can now look forward to leading the happy life he deserves, reports KOCO.
On June 25, 2026, a large-scale anti-drug operation was carried out by the police in the southeast ofOklahoma Cityin the state of Oklahoma (United States). The property where the intervention took place was suspected of harboring methamphetamine trafficking.
On site, investigators discovered 450 birds, around forty dogs, cats, reptiles and a horse held in various indoor and outdoor structures: enclosures, sheds, shelters, etc. 4 individuals were arrested as part of this investigation.
Caring for such a large number of animals constituted a colossal challenge for the authorities and the associations in the region.
Among the survivors was Meatloaf. This American Bully, although in bad shape at the time of his rescue, managed to recover spectacularly. He is doing much better today, and it is up to the association Animal Nexus that he must.
