Boppard. Easter should also be a good time for our dogs. How Easter can be designed for the four -legged friend, plus some ideas and tips:
- Easter egg search for dogs: Instead of chocolate (which is dangerous for dogs), you hide small treats or toys in safe areas of the garden or house. The dog will be enthusiastic, the sniffing games promote intellectual activity and are fun.
- Homemade Easter delicacies: Bake special dog biscuits in the form of Easter eggs, rabbits or flowers. Use dog -safe ingredients such as oatmeal, peanut butter and carrots. Cooked eggs (in moderation) are also a great surprise.
- Easter photo shoot: Of course you can dress the dog with a cute Easter outfit, such as a rabbit ear hair band or a colorful neckerchief and take funny photos (But don't overdo it, because whether that's really so fun for the dog is to be seen).
- Game fun: Use Easter holidays for extensive hours of play such as ball throw, frisbee or an agility course.
- Special walk: With the dog an extra long spring walk in a flowering park or a beautiful landscape to enjoy the holidays together.
- Easter toys: A new toy with an Easter topic, such as a plush bunny or a squeaky Easter egg for the dog.
What to avoid
Many treats are available for us humans during the Easter holidays. What is good for us can be poisonous for the dog. The beautifully decorated apartment is also not completely safe for the four -legged friend.
- Toxic foods: Chocolate, onions, greasy food and alcohol are dangerous for dogs and can lead to poisoning.
- Leftover food: The dog should not get food residues, since it is often seasoned or incompatible with the dog, which can cause stomach and intestinal problems.
- Decorations: Easter grass and even small -scale decorative materials can be swallowed by the four -legged friend and cause dangerous constipation.
A good time and “happy Easter” for all dog owners and their four -legged friends! (Stefan Richter)
