The quadruped appears in a video TikTok while he was in the middle of being transferred to the shelter. A sequence posted online on July 21, 2026 on the account “ @rescuewithme » and relayed by Pet Parade. Here it is:
Before being taken care of by the team of Saving Sage Animal Rescue, Glen had been rescued from a breeding facility where the welfare of the dogs was clearly not a top priority. The Labrador was permanently locked in a cage outside, without the slightest interaction or display of affection towards him.
“He never knew life in a home or a cozy basket”
“ He is 10 years old and has spent his entire life in a kennel on a concrete floor. He never knew life in a home or a cozy basket », We can actually read in the caption of the video.
At the shelter, Glen has not been the subject of any adoption applications at this time, largely due to his age. Those who care for him, however, are hopeful that he will soon return to the warm and happy home he deserves.

Another video (below) shared the same day shows Glen as he swims in a pool for the very first time in his life.
@rescuewithme ????Glen deserved better than the first 10 years of his life. He was neglected and used as a stud for a backyard breeder who sold AKC registered puppies. But they never cared to give him a bed to lay on. Now all he wants is a soft bed, kind hands, and someone to love him for the rest of his days. ????Broward, FL Senior dogs are often overlooked, but they have so much love left to give. Woopets info: why do senior dogs have more difficulty being adopted than younger ones?
Adopters often turn more towards young dogs, because they imagine being able to accompany them from their first learning and enjoy many years at their side. Some people also worry that an older dog will have more health problems or require more care.
However, adopting a senior dog has more than one advantage. Their personality is generally already well established, which makes it easier to choose a companion adapted to their lifestyle. He is often calmer, more composed and particularly appreciates the stability of a home.
Adopting an elderly dog also means giving him a second chance at a time when he particularly needs it. Many of them adapt quickly to their new family and develop a very strong relationship with their adopters.
