After months spent tied to a tree, this nice English Coonhound fortunately crossed paths with the right person. A dog rescued from extreme abuse
Only 2 years old, Ramsey was rescued from an extremely serious abuse situation after being discovered tied to a tree. The poor doggie had been forgotten there, left without food for months. Upon his arrival at his refuge Georgia (UNITED STATES), his condition was particularly worrying: terribly thin, exhausted and moving with difficulty, he also suffered from heartworm disease as well as severe kennel cough.

At that time, Ramsey was quickly placed in foster care to receive the care he urgently needed. If the first days were difficult, due to his great physical fragility and his distrust of his new environment, the doggie began to gradually regain confidence thanks to the patience and attention of his host family.
A magnificent rebirth
Over the months, Ramsey regained his strength thanks to a lot of care and a long rehabilitation. Despite a delicate operation and numerous treatments, the courageous doggie gradually regained his joy of living.

And then, what was supposed to happen happened. Welcomed initially for only a few weeks, Ramsey ended up winning the heart of his host mother.
Day after day, their bond grew stronger, until the idea of seeing him leave again became simply unthinkable. The temporary foster care then turned into a wonderful adoption, to the delight of all.

Today, its metamorphosis is striking. Once weak and fearful, Ramsey is now full of energy, plays with enthusiasm and has regained all his confidence.
He now shares a happy life with his mistress and, Sundaya Beagle 3-year-old who helped him adapt to his new daily life.
