• Vet-Concept is building its own dog daycare center
• 80 childcare places directly at the workplace
• A project that takes animal welfare seriously
Pine trees. What is outsourced elsewhere, Vet-Concept builds itself: As one of the few – if not the only – company, the pet food manufacturer sets up its own dog daycare center for its employees' dogs. In pine trees (Rhineland-Palatinate) The planning for the project is being pushed forward. The impetus came from the workforce: an internal survey clearly showed the desire for an in-house solution. Instead of cooperation, Vet-Concept consciously decided to build a new building – consistent, long-term and oriented to needs.
Space for retreat, play and structure
A 400 square meter, flexibly divisible dog hall with various retreat areas is planned. There is also a generous 3,500 square meter exercise area on a property that has 8,650 square meters and is landscaped to be dog-friendly. The opening is scheduled for early 2027.
Support with expertise
The trained dog trainer Christian Arielli takes over the management with a team of professional trainers. The dogs are cared for in small groups put together according to size and compatibility – with regular exercise, activity and social contact. A dog school is also part of the concept.
Relief for people and animalsr
Especially in rural areas, where dog daycare centers are rare, the offer saves time and organization. Care is available Monday to Saturday and makes it noticeably easier to combine work and dog ownership.
Animal welfare as an attitude – not as an addition
The dog daycare center is part of Vet-Concept's corporate culture. It stands for appreciation, flexibility and a holistic view of animal welfare. Or to put it another way: What applies to nutrition at Vet-Concept – individual, needs-based and animal-oriented – will also apply to the dogs' everyday life in their own Huta in the future.
