Created in 2018 by My Pet Agency, Woofest has quickly become the unmissable meeting place for dog lovers. Year after year, this unique festival has brought together more than 30,000 visitors and has established itself as the largest dog/human event in Europe. His secret? Simple and joyful moments to enjoy together: sports, games, meetings, discoveries… in short, everything that strengthens the bond between dogs and their humans.
In a world where we increasingly want to share experiences with our 4-legged companion, the Woofest comes at the right time! On June 13 and 14, 2026, he will set down at the Grand Parc Miribel Jonagehas Vaulx-en-Velin next to Lyonfor a 19e edition in the heart of nature.
An extraordinary weekend for dog handler duos
During this weekend designed for dog handler duos, everything is experienced together: we run, we jump, we explore… and sometimes we also laugh when your dog improvises! In a simple and friendly atmosphere, you can take part in the courses, or just come for a walk, discover the village, chat with enthusiasts and enjoy the moment.
At the heart of Grand Parc Miribel Jonage2 steps from Lyonthe festival is preparing to transform nature into a huge playground for you and your furry friend: trails, grass, water, mud, sun… everything is there to experience a real break from everyday life. And above all, no need to be sporty: everyone can progress at their own pace, whether their dog is small, large, young or older.
Races, walks and activities: what can we do there?
At Woofestyou will find activities adapted to all tastes. In the morning, the most motivated can embark on the obstacle course, a course of around 6 km between mud, water and passages to cross. No time, no pressure: just fun.
Do you prefer activities with a more leisurely pace? Supervised walks are also offered in the afternoon, ideal for discovering the park in a different way, accompanied by professionals.
And for the fun side, the Woofest has also thought of fun and accessible activities: ball pool, straw bale course (Hay-bale), nose work, agility…
Throughout the day, you can also enjoy the Woof Village with its stands, meetings and specialist advice, without forgetting a wellness area to pamper the doggies.
Result: we come to Woofest for an activity and we end up staying all day, carried by the atmosphere of the festival!
This Lyon meeting on June 13 and 14 will open the 2026 season of Woofestbefore continuing in September, on the 12th and 13th, at Château de Bertichèresnext to Paris. Two stages, 2 places, but always the same spirit: sharing a real moment outdoors with your dog, in a simple, lively and pressure-free atmosphere!
