Marina Livery rescued them, then learned that other puppies had been abandoned in the same way in the neighborhood. There were 10 of them in total and were obviously from the same litter.
Informed of the situation, the local association Will PitBull intervened. Its members set out in search of their mother, because they were obviously too young to be separated. They ended up finding her; the entire canine family was taken care of again.

When the puppies have reached the age to be put up for adoption, Marina Livery was among the first people to submit his file for Athena. She officially became his owner.
