Federal police take dog into custody
Bremen (ots). On Wednesday, September 18th, at 10:45 p.m., federal police took a small dog into custody at Bremen Central Station. The four-legged friend was previously tied up in front of the train station and apparently deliberately left behind.
At around 10:45 p.m. a witness saw a man holding the little furry friend in front of the train station (Exit to Bürgerweide) tied up and then walked away. When the man, who presumably came from the station area, did not return, the witness took the dog. At the main train station he handed the animal over to the federal police forces. The federal police took it to the station at the main train station and checked whether there had already been a wanted report. However, there has been no corresponding report yet.

The officers at the Bremen Federal Police Inspectorate still assume that the man who tied the mixed-breed dog at the train station was not the rightful owner. There is a suspicion that he had previously stolen the dog and then, when he got tired of it, left it at the main train station. The four-legged friend was very well-groomed, extremely attentive to the officers and wore a light gray dog coat with a Bremen dog tag. That night he was handed over to the employees of the Bremen animal shelter. There it is waiting for its rightful owners.
